This page explains which cookies the FONTEC S.r.l. website uses and how you can choose which ones to accept, in line with the Italian Privacy Code (Art. 122) and the Italian data protection authority’s cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in the visitor’s browser to make it work or to remember some choices. They can be set by the site you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by external services whose content is embedded in the page (third-party cookies).
In short
- The site only uses technical cookies, which do not require consent.
- We do not use profiling, advertising or analytics cookies.
- The Google Maps map on the contact page loads only if you accept in the banner or click “Show the map”.
- Fonts are hosted on the site itself and do not contact external services.

Third-party content: Google Maps
On the contact page you can see FONTEC’s location on a map provided by Google Ireland Limited. Until you give consent, the map is not loaded and your browser does not contact Google. When you show it, Google receives some browsing data (for example your IP address) and may set its own cookies to remember preferences and for security purposes. These cookies are managed by Google as an independent controller: to find out which they are and how long they last, see Google’s privacy policy and cookie page.
How to give, refuse or withdraw consent
- On your first visit the banner offers two equally weighted choices: “Accept” also loads third-party content, “Reject” keeps technical cookies only. Closing the banner with the X counts as rejecting.
- You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings: see the guides for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. If you block technical cookies, some site features may not work.
